R E D > You enter the door and find yourself in a glass box, suspended in the sky. Bright blue skies, white fluffy clouds, even birds pass by in the air around you. One look down and you see grass fields and sprawling lakes as far as the eye can see. Some wild horses running across the fields, some cows, just exactly what you'd expect. It's idyllic as fuck. Then the words appear: |

This is actually interesting. He hopes it'll be fun.
But when Mr. Spider-Man takes off his mask, Sebastian looks up, and the thoughtful expression turns more wry. ]
Oh? Not an alien after all, are you, Mr. Spider-Man?
[ But, wow, already ready to die??? As far as he's concerned, he's on the right team here, huh. ]
...But I would not be so quick to throw it away, sir. I would say especially if you have had it for quite a while.

[Peter shakes his head.]
You're a fighter, right? Mister pirate? You have to fight to defend the butler. I'm... this place weakened me. I can feel it more and more. I'll take the hit, if somebody has to go, but I doubt they're gonna jump on that option so quickly.
Anyway, the numbers are a pretty simple sequence, I wouldn't read too much into them. I'm guessing if you land on a certain number, it takes something from the person's assigned number. Either that, or it takes something from everyone but them.
We've got two options, as I see them. We can sit and refuse to play, which I vote in favor of. There will be reprisals, though, things we have to weather. Or we could play, and take our chances, and make those other people suffer for our actions.

[ But he sighs, scrubs at his face. ]
You are right. We are stronger as a force. All offering our own skills. Our experiences. I doubt we can wait them out. At least in my experience.

I appreciate it very much. I may know a little self-defense, but... [ He shrugs helplessly ]
Though... I do not completely agree that we can wait out whatever this holds. I would take the chance and roll the dice, personally. Progress seems better than being idle, though I admit that is little more than a gut feeling.

[Still holding the knife close to his chest.]
Everything's sixes, have you noticed that? Six people, six hours, twelve-sided dice, six options... statistically we're unlikely to roll our numbers, but it's 50/50 on rolling our team's numbers. And why teams? Are we competing, or is there another reason...
You're right, actually. We need more data, and we can't figure it out by sitting pretty. Who's rolling first?

That many sixes, and it begins to resemble the number of the beast. But I would hope it would not be so... Cliche seems too light a word for this situation.
[ But he looks to Peter and to Jamie, before shrugging again ]
If it is a game of chance, then I suppose it does not matter. I can roll first.

[Just rambling to himself, but-]
Okay, Michaelis. If you're sure.

[ But he'll approach the table and taking a second glance at the list of numbers and names, Sebastian picks up the dice, rolls...
And up comes a nine. ]
That would be Sara, according to the list?

[He waits for something to happen, his grip on the knife tightening, and... nothing. Nothing.]
So whatever happens, it's probably in the room with Sara in it. Rolls only hit the person whose number came up.
...I'll go next. [And in his head, he thinks, one or twelve, one or twelve, one or twelve.]
[But it's a 2.] I'm so sorry, I-
