R E D > You enter the door and find yourself in a glass box, suspended in the sky. Bright blue skies, white fluffy clouds, even birds pass by in the air around you. One look down and you see grass fields and sprawling lakes as far as the eye can see. Some wild horses running across the fields, some cows, just exactly what you'd expect. It's idyllic as fuck. Then the words appear: |
FIRST SPIN
And then the box begins to crack. Quickly then, splintering all upon the sides, like it was just hit with a hammer.
Then it drops, just a little. Hanging a little askew in the air. Everything begins to slide to the lowest corner of the box but the wheel still hangs.
Sebastian will feel something strange with the tips of his fingers and then, just like that, they all seem to fall off like a butcher knife was brought down upon them. Blood will spill and a few minutes will pass and then another chunk of finger goes. This will keep happening as he's slowly cut to bits until there's nothing left of him. But he has a long time until that happens, he should be... fine. For now.
Peter will open his mouth to breathe and then suddenly, the skin of his face grows over it until his entire mouth just seems to. Disappear. He can probably make a joke about the Matrix now, except he has no mouth to do so anymore.
Jamie will feel sharp pain on his side and if he lifts his shirt, he will find a large bite mark in his torso. Like a large animal, perhaps an alligator has just bitten him. Some of the skin will be missing and it will hurt very much. ]

He's carted too many corpses not to. Too many boys nearly cut in half from that kind of bite, smaller than he is now. It hurts. It hurts so much, and he only has a little more bandage to use... so he keeps it for later. The mark is large but not too deep, not deep enough that his clothes can't take the blood instead of a bandage. And he'll... handle the pain.
He starts speaking before he looks over to Peter.]
I offered the only bloody thing I have anymore. All that's kept me going through the years.
[ And he can feel the hole there, the loss of it, more than even the crocodile bite.]
Is this 'gift' or-
[ Which is when he sees Peter's situation.]
Fuck.

So much for statistics.
[ ...It's definitely a good thing that Sebastian is missing that crucial part of himself, though. If he weren't, he would probably be quite a bit more dangerous to his group at the moment. I'm so sorry, personally, that he's like this. ]
What kind of gift could you have possibly received?

[Then he goes back to trying to help Sebastian.]

[ And if it comes out in a frustrated growl, he can't help that. His pale shirt is going to start showing the red of the blood soaking through soon enough, but he'll wave Peter off if he starts trying to take more clothing off to serve as a bandage. He'll be fine. More flesh wounds, things he's familiar with.
He looks to Sebastian.]
I've a leaf in my things. Chewing it helps with the pain. Would you take some?

It is appreciated, but I shall hold off for now. I have had far worse, though it is not so lingering.
[ He's starting to care far less about his secret at this point, since without Ciel, well. What point is there to hiding it, really? ]
But I hope you will both understand my impatience. Are we still continuing assuming we all have to play this foul game?

[The thing about his powers is... he's lost them. But he's been doing this for years. Muscle memory counts for a lot.]
[Witness the New York jumping spider launch himself up, grabbing for the wheel and spinning it as his body whirls around with it.]
[Speaking of statistics, that's unlikely.]
[He thinks of the only thing he has left. The memories of his parents? No, they can't be that important, he can still remember them. He gives up the feeling of everyone he loves, whoever they are, he gives up the memory of their love and support.]

what the fuck
It's as he stares in baffled amazement that the wheel lands on the option it does. He opens his mouth to say something to the strange display he's just witnessed, but all that comes out is— ]
Ah.
[ Understated, sure, but it's at least quickly followed by clutching his hand tightly as the next knuckle goes. Bye fingers :( ]

[In the air, he makes a circular motion with his hand, then an X over his face. Everyone but me.]

[ He's less surprised about the whole trying to walk up a wall, failing, and bouncing around like a madman. That might have something to do with the fact that most of his life was spent around young boys who would try to walk up a tree just because it took their fancy or another of them dared them to. ]
...any thoughts on stopping him falling apart?
[ That comes with a point to Sebastian.]

If there were even anything to sew with. But considering I have just lost more of my hand, I would say it would be a wasted effort.

Wrap your wrists up tight in it. Restrict the blood a little more.
[ And then he turns to the wheel.]
And best you get the wheel spun before you've no more hand to do it with.
