> You enter the door and find yourself in a glass box, suspended in the deep, dark ocean. Darkness surrounds you on all sides and once in a while, the box shakes. It'll be clear enough after a while that that's because of the movement of the water. The deep, dark water that they're surrounded by.

Once in a while, something moves in the darkness, unnaturally large and much too close for comfort. Then... the noises. The moans and hisses of things living out there, in the deep.

Then the words appear:

FIRST PUZZLE IS ABOUT TO START

[ There will be a small table in the middle of the room with a 12 sided dice and an incredibly sharp hunting knife next to it.

Then a sheet of paper that says:

SARA: 1 & 12
CHIDI: 2 & 11
ALICE: 3 & 10
PETER: 4 & 9
SEBASTIAN: 5 & 8
JAMIE: 6 & 7 ]

[ Alice? will feel something strange with his right arm. It seems to feel a little lighter for a moment before it... kind of... shifts and suddenly --

Oh, suddenly, it's made out of paper. His entire arm. He can't seem to move his fingers or forearm anymore or even really feel the paper. It'll just be... paper. A paper arm, like someone cut it out and stuck it to his shoulder. It seems to blend seamlessly into the flesh of his shoulder but... it's still... an arm.

And he'll have the oddest sensation that that's exactly how it's supposed to be. ]

[ And as the three of them deal with Alice's new arm, Sara will feel something a little strange inside of her. Just like... something... was there, at the top of her mind.

And suddenly, not there.

Sara has lost the memory of Class VII as well as the memory of what exactly a Bracer is (and as a result -- that she is one as well). ]

[ Alice? Guess what.

Guess.

Suddenly, there's the sensation of things going extremely, extremely right. It won't be clear what's going on but it's just. Things are just right. Things are good. No matter what happens in this game, things will be fine.

Everything will be fine.

Because guess what? Alice? now has a home to return to at the end of this game. Whatever he wanted the most, whatever he could imagine, he will have it when this is all done. And as a result, Alice? can no longer die. Not until he gets there.

Oh, he can be injured. But he cannot die.

That is his reward. ]

[ Hi, Sara.

You'll be losing something else again.

This time, it's your strength. Suddenly, your ability to pick things up, to lift things, to really make a physical impact saps right out of you. You have no strength, you feel winded easily, it's just kind of... all gone.

Maybe you should take a seat. ]

[ The box shakes for a moment and tiny cracks begin to appear in the crack. Not enough to break it but enough to be... worrying. Especially when tiny streams of water begin to leak in. Oops! Be careful!

The table and the paper disappear, but the room stays the same otherwise, even the knife remains.

Instead, something appears on the wall. A wheel.

And a piece of paper will be stuck to it reading:

GIFT
Spin the wheel. Pick someone. Gift them something.
If the gift is greater than the gift they give you, they will be punished. You will be gifted.
If the gift is less than the gift they give you, you will be punished. They will be gifted.
If the gift is of equal value, you will both be punished. ]

[ The box will suddenly shatter a bit more. More water begins to fill the box. It also seems to drop slightly in place, as if it's starting to sink.

Hi, Alice?.

He will be blessed with two whole gifts today. The first one is all of his memories will return and he will know exactly who, or to be more specific: what he is. Good luck with that.

The other gift, of equal value, will be an intense feeling of hope. He will survive this. He will keep going. He will find home again, or at all. He will be okay.

And thus, the punishments.

Alice? will continue from earlier but this time, both legs turn into paper. He will collapse immediately to the ground.

Sara will feel a slashing mark somewhere on her body. Like she's been cut with a sword. It'll be strange for a moment until, eventually, it disappears. Then, right after the skin returns, unblemished and whole, another injury will appear. Sara will be reliving all the recent injuries she's inflicted on other people.

Chidi will suddenly feel a sensation across his whole body, like he's being pushed in just a little. Like he's being crushed. It's slow at first but the more time passes, the more suffocating it will get, until it'll be hard to move and speak and even breathe. There's no visible indication of what's happening. ]

[ The box will remain as it is.

They will receive no gift.

Nothing will happen to them.

Their gift has been delivered. ]

[ The box tilts completely, more cracks showing in it. What was once the wall is the ceiling and everyone's going to tilt left. Water is now rushing into the box.

Your gift has... not been delivered. Chidi is still being crushed.

Alice?'s last arm will go. He is now a torso and a head.

Sara will completely forget the memory of her father.

Chidi will forget everything after his death. His last memory of home is arguing on the sidewalk with his friend. ]

[ Nearby, something opens its eye. A large, massive orange eyes look in on them, lighting up the entire box with the orange glow. It just watches.

The wheel and paper disappear.

The water and knife stay.

Then two words, on a piece of paper:

Take something. ]

[ The glass cracks. It begins to splinter completely. The water fills the glass over and over until -- it explodes.

The three of them, Sara, Chidi, Alice? all begin to tumble into the dark depths of the ocean.

The orange eye blinks closed and something follows on behind them.

They won't come back out. ]
