Once in a while, something moves in the darkness, unnaturally large and much too close for comfort. Then... the noises. The moans and hisses of things living out there, in the deep.

[Okay well. Alice would love to help his poor two compatriots, but...!!!

Alice fucked up. To start with. He super duper duper fucked up--because he gets his memories back and that's problem number one.

Because Alice was never supposed to get these memories back, not like this, and well...

He hits the ground as his legs turn to paper (the water seeping into them and his arm, soaking them in a way that iiiis very concerning), but he doesn't even seem to really react or care or notice.

Instead he just ends up staring at the ceiling as the full impact of his past, of his memories, of what he actually is and why the paper all felt so right sinks in.

And you know the best part about all of this? The other gift is hope, so like, even as he's wallowing in this pit of despair, he can't even believe that everything will just end and he'll be free of this miserable existence. NOPE. THEY'RE PROBABLY GONNA GET THROUGH THIS.

AND THAT SUCKS. lIKE SOME SICK JOKE.

uh so he's catatonic.]
